Alright, I just wanted to check and see how many use a Sack for charging there LiPo's in. Some may have no clue and some may use them already. Anyway, just wanted to bring this up to inform people of these. This may be coming from the Fireman in me but anyway. They are out there for your safety, your Local FD will appreciate it as well.
These sacks can be purchased at many LHS's and if your's doesn't have them try to get them to get them in. Otherwise, you can get them on line or ebay for pretty cheap. They do a great job of containing the hand grenade if something goes off when charging.
I have 3 of them and try to use them every time. I do have 2 LiPo hump packs that are in trucks that are a bear to get out so they do not get charged in the truck but otherwise everything I have gets charged in a sack when charging.
My brother had a pack that was acting up and he put it outside inside of a sack and charged it to see what would happen and it went up inside the sack. The sack did a great job of protecting everything around and contained it very well. I will try to get over there and get a picture of this sack at some point.
Anyhow please vote and I do strongly suggest spending the money and getting a sack for charging in. Also, do your charging of your LiPo's out side. LiPo's are safe if taken care of and charged correctly, but at the first sign of something weird dispose of them properly.
Always Safety First!
