de-anodized your engine plates

There is a chemical that will strip it. Do a search here on the site and I am sure you will find it. I can't remember off hand what it is.
 
i heard before that oven cleaner works good but haven't tried it the easy off stuff if i remember correctly
 
ya i myself would have someone do it right for me so it comes out looking sweet and i have dealt with maximusraylius in the past and he is a great guy to deal with and takes pride in his work so give him a shout..........
 
click that link i posted for you .. has a price list on it ... but message me what you have n want done i can work with .. alot of ppl don't realize when you deanodize something it makes it a real dull. raw looking piece of aluminum .. ashey looking no shine to it at all.. when i do it it comes back to you like chrome high polished looking.. ..hit me up n let me know ...
 
You need a mix of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) and water.

But if you are going to do this be CAREFUL!
I work with anodizing and have xp with this ****. Anodized alu are going a couple of minutes in this before anodizing. But why remove it? Anodizing makes the alu stronger.

There is a reason we anodize aluminium...you need that to protect it. The color is just a bonus. The anodizing it self is light grey, the color i just added later in the process. So what you want is "Nature Anodizing".
