Coverplate

hey all, I'm looking to get a new coverplate for my savage. i have a f4.6 i think, its the 4.6 with the round cooling head. i have stripped the holes in the back somehow, and i need a new plate. the only problem is i can only find it for the k4.6 which is the machined head. anybody know where ican get one?

Yes buddy you have the F4.6 if its the round head with no machining in it.

I hope your not talking you stripped the threads out or the the Engine block if so you just as well try to take advantage of the HPI replacement program or buy a new engine.

If you didn't pull the threads out of the Block then the cover plate number for your F4.6 is 1426 and can be found here http://www.gohobbies.com/itemHPI-1426.html or many different places. It is the sameone used in the old F4.1 engine. The only taped holes in this plate is the ones for the back plate or rolo start plate or pull starter. I hope this helps.

thanks alot larsen!! ill be ordering that cus i stripped the threaded hols on that, not on the crankcase itself. i have it in seperate pieces, and my rotostart doesnt stay on anymore.... so hopefully it will ber here soon!
