I got a couple newbie questions for you guys.

Why is it that with my 4.6 when I hit the brakes my engine die's? As the engine heats up I have to keep turning the throttle trim down untill it gets up to temp then it seems to work better but for 5 or 10min of driving it I can't hit the brakes without it dying

And I use 20% gas, is that stuff like pop because it goes flat overnight lol. I can't leave the fuel in the tank even less than 24hours, when I go to start it just turns over and over and never fires. Suck it out the old gas and put some fresh stuff in and it fires right up.

Hey Dewie...I would start by removing the air filter and checking the gap for the carb. A good gap opening is about 1mm. You should be able to obtain this by using a large paperclip. Open the paperclip and put in the carb opening and adjust the gap using the adjustment screw against the paperclip. This will be approx. 1mm. Don't close too much with the paperclip in or you could cause damage. Give this a shot and see how it goes. Good luck.

You need to retune your engine. No need to take fuel out n put new fuel in. It should start up with same fuel in it. Start by turning the low speed needle. The one on the slide part of the carb turn it to flush then barely in maybe 1/16 turn to start with. And the high speed needle turn it out til its flush then turn it in about roughly 1mm in from flush give or take depending on your climate n what your engine likes to rub at. Turn your trim on your remote so that the carb closes all the way. Then set your idle screw so its about 1mm open or till it idles smoothly with out reving up to fast that it engages the clutch. When you press the breaks it stalls cause the idles to high.
