Cold weather

So i have looked around a bit and cant seem to get a clear answer on this. So what is considered cold weather for nitro engines and when is a good time to use a hotter plug.

I have seen videos of guys running their savages in deep snow all the time in winter time conditions.....
Don't use a hotter plug, if you are going to run in cold weather a bit of aluminum foil around the head will retain heat in the engine.... using a hotter plug will only cause yourself a bunch of unnecessary grief....
