Hi i am a newbie and for the second time i have my carburator falling off my truck and i have to fix it. I use the stock k5.9 any tip how to prevent this from happening again.

Normally it should be ok. My problem it that the screw slowly goes off over time. Last time it completely goes off. This time it was still on but almost gone. It was only 5 tanks before it happen again.

Take out the screw completely and clean the threads then apply a drop of blue locktite to the threads and reinstall, that should keep it from loosening due to vibration, in fact I would remove and do the same for any screw that threads into metal, cheep insurance for your rig not to dismantle itself when running.....

thank i will try that.
