carb o-rings

I went threw today and noticed both of my o-rings on my carb are cut in half can i go threw and seal with with the copper permatex gasket sealer till i get a couple o-rings or will it still suck air.

I am sure you can run it just using the gasket sealer, and it probably would work just fine. But if I had the option, I would put o-rings in there just in case, but that is just my opinion.

I just wanna run it till i get my new motor.don't really want to wait to get new o-rings... havning some great weather here and no work so i wanna enjoy it while i can

Well, it's possible. You could use some rtv where they are split and slap it together. 🙂
