WOW! i don't hear that very often!! hopefully someone will have some advice for ya shortly!!!
 
I would rinse the inside of the carb and cylinder out before attempting to start it again. WD-40 or some nitro fuel should work. Swish it around and dump it into a bowl of some kind.
 
I have had this happen and never did get the carb to stay tight no matter how tight I tightened the screw. I got a new carb and it whet in without a problem and stayed tight....4-5 tanks layer the crank snapped. Not sure if the problems were linked but I jut had bad luck after it came off
