The four screws that go through the ring gear and into the diff cup are stuck on my Flux. They're phillips head and I can't take them off. I'm afraid that I will strip them and then I'm in deep trouble.

How can I take them off?

Well now I need a butane torch.😢

Can I heat them and take them off later or will the loctite grab again when it cools? (probably not)

heat is heat

if you have a gas kitchen stove, hold it over the flame (taking proper precaution)

or bake them in the oven: something like 300 degrees for 20 min or so.

get creative.

ya you don't need to buy anything. thats just what i had in the garage. for my cen diffs i did an oven bake because they were tougher. just put the heat to them and they will loosen.

My cousin has a cheap heat gun from harbor freight, I used that and it worked great. You may be able to try a blow dryer for hair if you have any women in the household. It may not get it hot enough, but it is worth a shot.
