I have a lrp .28 spec 2 i have been having a hard time keeping it running then restarting it after its been running. It will sit there and idle perfectly until i try starting to move with it for a little then it some times cuts off then i have a hell of a time trying to restart it. What could my problem be? It has a new glow plug MC59 and settings are stock. Also bogs when i got full throttle with it

I recommend using an mc-8 plug. Just like pope said, sounds like you LSN and HSN are too rich.

So when it cuts off after running for a little the motor is getting loaded up with fuel and making it hard for me when i go to start it back up?

good question scott... also what fuel are you useing? i think you need to break it in still... then start adjusting the needles ... its still stock settings flush or lil under you saID...so how long you had the engine and how much fuel have you ran through it? don't adjust it till you broke it in... if it needs adjusted to run so you can break it in... just leave the low speed needle flush.. then adjust the high speed needle barely in so itll let you putt around blipping the throtle slowly for several tanks before you even start adjusting it and trying wot. go slow on it...if its new still...

The reason i asked that question is because i had a heck of a time trying to get my lrp to even start on the factory settings.I had to lean it out a little to even get it to start. When I heat cycled the mill yesterday I had to lean it out to even get it up to temp. After that it would start eveytime on the frist pull..

any nitro mill is only gonna idle for so long before it loads up with fuel, chokes & dies.

I say your fine with 20% fuel & the hot plug (mc 59) thats why you can fire right up & idle.

So, you can either goose the throttle a lil to burn off some of that fuel build up, or if it bogs and dies, take out the glow plug, evacuate the cylinder, put the plug back in & fire it up.

Seems like i can now get it running after it stalls but every time i go to lean it out the damn thing starts to bog and I'm not that far away from stock settings and i am only doing a 1/8 of a turn
