Byron fuel race gen 2 for 5.9?

Anyone here using Byron fuel race gen 2 its the 33% nitro with 16% lube on the savage xl? I used 1 gallon of 20% traxxas fuel but had alot of problems with the one way bearing. Also will the 33% run good with the mccoy mc59 glow plug because thats all my guy sells? Thanks lmk

thats the only fuel i run any more .. great fuel... but you need a medium to cold plug with that percentage .. the plug you mentioned is a hot plug .. need like a mc 8 or mc 9..

How will it run with the mc-59?

The temp where you live also plays a part as to what plug you need to use. I live in FL, run 30% and I need to use a mc9 during the summer and when the temps are above 70*. I need to use an mc8 during the winter time when the temps drop 70* and below. But, to answer your question about the mc59, it'll be hard to tune. The only time you would possibly use the mc59 is during break-in cuz your runnin it so rich.

I live in south tx next to the border real hot climate here and humid. I have a couple of o.s 4 stroke plugs think those will work on a 2 stoke?
