sounds like you want to turn the idle back up just enough so it doesnt roll forward at idle, yet will stay running when you hit full brake.

i have it set the wheels are spinning when its off the ground and it is almost rolling away on flat ground but still the throttle is closing tight when i press the brakes

Did the truck still go fwd after you adjusted the idle?

How does the truck come off the line? Can you pop wheelies or it it boggy?

Take the air filter tube off, apply the brake and make sure the carb slide stays open about 1mm or so. this is to make sure the carb slide is not going fully shut when you apply the brakes.

Check the throttle trim on your remote and make sure its in the center.

You may need to adjust your lsn.

yes it goes forward and wheelies and the carb slide is completely shut when i use the brakes. and when i adjust the idle at the idle screw it seems like its not making a difference so i can only adjust by the remote

the carb slide is completely shut when i use the brakes.

This is what is causing your motor to stall. Adjust the idle screw so there is about a 1mm gap when the brakes are on and the throttle trim at neutral. If you have to turn the throttle trim up on your tx to get the motor to run, you are running a little to rich and will need to be leaned up.

No need to feel that way bud, thats what we are here for. Glad to see you got it up and running. Keep posting up those quesitons if you have them.
