I bought my Savage HP Flux a week ago. When I bought it, I bought 2-80$ batteries. They were partly charged and I drained them.
2 days later, I took my machine (this isn't a toy, I don't care what anyone says) to show off to my gf. I trashed it back and forth violently and my transmission smoked and the traction stopped.
I took the entire thing apart. Turns out my "slipper clutch pad" became so hot, it caked into a grey clay. With a tool, I removed the clay and replaced it with the factory part. I also "lucas oiled" the entire transmission thinking it was over heating.
Turns out the nut that covers the little spring on the front gear had to be tightened. Without the slip, it was metal on metal and that is what cause it to overheat. I touched it and I burnt my finger.
Long store short, the transmission is make to be run without oil When you buy one, make sure that nut is tight.
I just trashed it back and forth on a huge pave less area and it ran perfectly. This thing is demon possessed.
