As well as my sliders and throttle ball end. (last purple pieces on my truck) watched a few u-tube videos on dying wheels and seems easy enough. After 5-6 min in the black dye...
Purple. Left them in for another 25 min. Still purple. I thought maybe the box was Mia-labeled but my sliders came out perfect jet black.
As well as my fingers. So decided to roll with the purple rims anyway.
It's kind of a blue-purple and the more I look at em, the more I like em.
So I guess savage-purple will live on with my truckYa I was thinking that too, they were fairly glossy. Maybe some kind of clear coat or something. Prob should have read up on stripping them down first. Either way I like the look, something differentLooks good. Even if you wanted them black.
Weird it didn't work the way it should, maybe there was some kind of extra coating on the rims?
