Hey guys i was just reading around on here and it may be just the newb in me and ive never dealt with monster trucks before but what is the purpose of belting the tires i saw how to do it in the sticky and is it just so the tires don't expand and peak? And if so would it benefit to do this to all types of tires not just MT's thanks...

i bought tyres for my buggy once pre-mounted and they inflated like a balloon. When i put tyres on my new rims for my savage i ran some duct tape around the middle inside, making sure it overlapped at the end sticking to itself. BEST THING I EVER DID, no inflating maximum grip.
If duct tape can hold these tyres i think it would hold any tyre
