I'm trying to break in my axial this morning but every time i remove the glow plug ignitor it dies. how do i fix this. I'm kinda new to nitro. thanks for the help in advanced.

Having a brain fart at the moment but I would say the plug is bad. What's the temp where your at?

i changed the plug to a random one that was in my box and it idles fine . i have no idea what it is. the temp got up to 190 idling.

i drove my first tank on it and when i give it throttle it gets really high pitch and then comes down. is this too lean, too rich? the only other nitro motor ive broke in was my 3.3 on my revo and it went really smoothly.

i figured out that it was way to lean. richened it up a bunch and got a full tank without it shutting off. now i gotta finish the break in. its so dang boring. thanks for your help

Sorry I just left and didn't finish helping you. Had to do yard work. Anyway glad you got it sorted out. From my experience Axial's are normally way to lean at the factory settings. The most recent Axial I broke in the LSN had to be turn out 3 full turns from the stock setting just so it would overheat. BTW I recommend running a MC-8 plug with your Axial if you run into more problems. No real reason to change the plug if it's all working good though. Have fun.

BTW- Saw your in VA, so am I.
