Now that I broke in the Axial 32 I took the cooling head off and wanted to see in side. It looks like a light brown colour on the piston and sleve. The glow pluge has a light brown tint to it too. I have some pictures of it I want to make sure that this looks fine to everyone. The highest temp that I had on it was 270 most of the time 255-262F let me know if this looks ok. Cheers!

Not sure bud, fuels make a difference I think but I know mine had right at a gallon on it and it still looks like new. If you want pics let me know, I already have the head off of it.

Ok bud, I will get a pic up later tonight. I have a project due tomorrow and I have 2 pages I have to type up before then and print out tomorrow!

Looks like it its been ran hot too me bud ... That air filter that you are running isn't do the engine and justice ether. I run trinity fuel 20%
I have 2 gallns on my stock .25 and the piston is spotless .. Make sure the temp readings are on ..

But IMO the engine looks like it's been running hot..

Yeah your head button looks really burnt..OUCH !! I will take apart my surefire and sanp a pic for you

Looks Hot, What Type and color af fuel are you running?

Did you check it with a temp gun and what was the hottest you saw on it?

I also have to agree with Jester on that Air Filter.

OMG! I think you got some serious issues going on. That thing looks like is was running on unleaded gas. I would try to somehow calibrate your temp gun and also try the spit test on the head as a alternate check.

the highest temp I seen was 280 I run a 5A plug (cold). So could this be a result of the filter? I never got up to 200F I use 25% Sidewinder all seems good running. Is there anything I could do to the button? could it be buffed out? :Mr.confused:

You could buff it out .. But your just covering up the problem .. what does the engine sound like when running .. Do you have a vid anywhere ?
