Any one with the HPI 79 ford f150 body?

I just picked one up and have been told they crack easy. Any pics or info of trouble spots on them that i could reinforce to help it last longer?

While I haven't heard of any major problems with the HPI105127 body, it is a bit thinner than other bodies. Such as compared to many Proline Racing bodies that are .060" thick the HPI Ford body is a bit thinner at .040" thick.

Really, just as any body - keep it off it's top and you should be just fine.

All my HPI bodies were thin. Shoe goo in the top of the cab corners and where the bed meets the cab will help a ton

I use lexan scraps off trimming bodies to shoo goo into the shell to help reinforce my bodies...... it works well caz i rarely have them crack and break even when landing on the roof or back end.....

I'm gonna use drywall tape and shoe goo to reinforce mine. I just wanted to know if any one could tell me for sure trouble spots on that body. I know slash bodys all crack in the same spots so was thinking maybe that was the case with this body.
