well the neighbor went to help clean somebodie house and gave us this huge oldschool soldering iron. all it says on is "American Beauty" soldering iron made by American electrical heaters co Detroit

My Dad has a wood-handled one just a little larger than that, but with a faceted tip. They were used for big electrical connections, and for copper pipe up to a couple inches thick, if you'd believe it.
They went out of style pretty quick when small propane bottles for torches became common.
