the polish is jewelers rouge

hm ill have to see if i can find that around here. my dremel came with this polishing compound but i don't know if it is good for the crank. did you use the cotton polishing wheels or the rubber ones with the rouges? Do i need water or anything?

is a port and polish worth doing on a savage .21BB? or should i just keep the Dynamite Mach .26 in it and leave it alone? any input?
