We have cars that can get that kind of fuel mileage. Go get a VW Jetta TDI. They get close to 65MPG range and are fairly inexpensive and are much better built than the Ford. By all means I'm not saying they don't break down because the vw fam does but I am saying that them Germans pay attention to the detail and body lines. They also use some immaculate paint and great materials.

We have a 2003 VW Beetle.......

I will never own a VW unless it is a Jetta. Let's just say "Thanks goodness for the warrenty"

I am not a ford person either but still

the reason they cant bring the fiesta over here is because our emissions regulations are so strict in the u.s. that its leading to one of the biggest diesel manufacturers getting out of On-road diesel's, that would be CAT. for a diesel to run in the u.s. in 2010, its emissions must be less that .02 PPM when you can take a reading in any CITY in the u.s., and get a reading of .04 PPM or higher. basically any on-road diesel built after 2010 is going to be a $1XX,XXX air purifier. this is why most people who actually use their diesel engine for pulling or for hauling equipment, not that this fiesta is meant to, arent buying them anymore. SORRY to get off topic, but i figured a little more info wouldnt hurt.

well, even here

2 years back we used to get the gallon for almost 1.12$

now we are paying 1.8 per gallon despite that my country is a producer for fuel 🙁

sad

deisel costs alot here, around 3.26$ :S :S
