Hey guys i don't know if anyone has ever talked about this or has even thought about this but something has been bothering me with how much play is in the fuel tank and how it basically could rattle against the tvp chassis so i took some foam tape and secured mine to where it is solid and will not move top to bottom i'm just curious if anyone has commented on this before? to me its a problem the fuel tank should be solid mounted or should not have that much play in it.

Keeping them loosely mounted actually keeps them from busting.

They do have some wobble to them when set up from factory.
There are a number of things you can do to make them a bit more secure.
You don't want them completely solid though.

to make mine a little better, I add orings to the tanks mounts.

a short piece of fuel tube also works to take out some of the slop in the mounting points, and that is something everyone has in their pit boxes....

I just used a piece of foam tape so it has alot of cushion and it keeps it from wobbling and you cannot see it either.

the hpi 102526 roll cage set includes updated fuel tank holders! tank does not move its perfect now.

Yep the hop up mounts that come with roll cage work a treat.
