4.6 Factory Settings

Ok, I know the needles suppost to be flush but i remmember seeing a thread that said the exact way the screws should be facing. Does anybody know this?

Hmmmmmmm. Idk about that. But flush is factory settings. Each engine will be slightly different. As to the way the screws actually seat in the carb. What is it your needing to do?

I am changing from 20% nitro to 30%, and a few other things i've changed as well, so i just want to start from factory and then retune. I'm being a little to picky i guess.

Just put the needles back to flush and re-tune from there mate, factory settings don't have to be so accurate that the screw is pointing any particular way, I'd imagine that the needle threads and machining vary ever so slightly even between the same model of engine so that particular point would be different from engine to engine anyway.

Yep you got it londoner. Just art to flush if your wanting to then retune. Just watch for a good smoke trail at wot. You'll be fine. Enjoy the 30%. Makes nice power.
