My friend has a new Savage x 4.6. I hate to say it but he has had alot of trouble with his. I haven't had much trouble but my own fault. His first time out he broke a pinion gear, melted the slipper clutch into the spur gear. Next day he tore all the teeth off of the spur gear. We changed all that and he run it a little here and their maybe 2 tanks worth. He put a set of bigger tires and wheels on it today and got about 1/2 a tank of fuel through it doing nothing but running WOT out and back and it stopped moving. No more teeth on the spur gear. What are we doing wrong. I haven't broke one yet and have a gallon of fuel through mine. We did the paper trick, not sure what the paper was to supposed to look like though. It didn't cut the paper, it just looked like an accordian. thanks. :40:
