put the picco together tonight, 17/49 and it doesn't fit. flm tvps, motor plate, motor mount. setup worked just fine with the 4.6. Any suggestions on cb/sg that might fit? I don't want to lose top end. actually i want more top end now that I have more power.

16/46 is the exact same gear ratio and will fit with no problem You could also go 17/46 and be happy and will give you more top end. This mill will still have plenty of power. The 17/46 is what I'm planing on running in with mine.

If you don't mind grinding your TVP's you can dremel them down some like I did or get some button head screws to use on the right side of the mill (2 screws that hold mill on mount)

I took a dremel and took off some metal on the tvp where the screws hit and I have been good go.

parker is correct, the engine mount screws hit the tvp's, they are about 1/16 of an inch too tall. I might just go ahead and grind down the tvps there. what attachment should i use to grind them? diamond bit? I really don't want to have to buy another cb and sg. to make it work. thanks for the input guys

I used whatever I had, lol. I also ground down my heads because I was in a rush and just ground down my heads and the tvp's with whatever I had in the dremel for that day, lol.

you can run the 47 gear too. its the 49 messing you up. I can run 15-20/47 fine.

Thanks bank, thats what ill do. going to the 47 will give me a bit more top end and I won't have to grind those finely machined tvps down. I run plastic sg so they are only about 2.50/pc from the lhs.
