If I my make a suggestion for your Savage build, Try the Alza Center diff. It seems to end alot of the parts breakage and makes the truck handle way better.
Try Ofna #86104 or Jconcepts #3308 I think these are the only 1/2 offset wheels that fit a maxx size tire I believe that the Velocity is some sort of lowpro tire.
I could be wrong but, I have been searching for some decent 1/2 offset dish wheels and finding alot of LPR wheels which are 100mm in diameter where as a MAXX tire is about 90mm in diameter. I believe the wheel you should have ordered is 3308 or 3309 depending on offset desired. The combo you...
I concur with Purenitro that your engine sounds lean. I would richen both needles like an 1/4 turn and see if you get some more power and you should be able to see smoke upon acceloration. Good luck
I'm no expert but the in second video it sure sounds like the low side is lean. I would try returning all screws to factory and then spend some quality time tuning. Good luck
I'm leaning towards Boca's yellow seal bearings as they claim they are stainless steel and the balls are 100% ceramic=no rust, but good golly they are big $. Is there another company that sells the same bearings for less?
Hi Guys, I'm in the market for some new bearings and have had my fill of cheap/junky bearings. I'm thinking I'ld like to try something ceramic and ss, I'm in upstate NY buried under several feet of snow so the Savage gets it's share of snow, rain and cold. Anyone have any good suggestions?
I think that the whole diff is different, and none of the part will interchange with a nitro savage. I also have an E-savage and they are narrower and the suspension is different. You would have been better off to convert a 21 or 25 to electric and slowly morph it into a Flux.
I'm pretty happy with the goliaths on my 25. They don't balloon as easily as you might think, have more offset for stability, and have handled my noobish attempts at big air so far. Oh, and looks way cooler=faster.
Hi guys, just bought a new radio and it's pretty nice but the instructions stink. [bad translation?] I like how small the receiver is but the 3rd channel is in a strange place and requires putting both hands on the radio and turning it to flip the switch for reverse, anywho, I noticed that right...
Be sure that the CB is lined up straight with the spur gear, I have also destroyed more Cb's and spur gears than I care to admit. My biggest problems were crooked alignment and bad mesh, a close third was loose mount screws and cracked engine plate. Good luck
For what it's worth I think that they call the talon a 38 series tire, all you would need to do is find foams and rims to fit your 17mm hexxes. Good luck
