2 of my 3 savages have Losi LST shocks. New XL need them and i have some of the parts to build them for it but they have gotten expensive and hard to find since i last time i needed parts.
are there any more "modern" replacements of equal size?
where OH where should it be?
are there ant reasons why it cannot be mounted low in the chassis, rather than up high on the transmission like the stock ELC-6S was?

I got one of my savages out last week to test new servos. Its was a 50 degree day here in Nort Deekoter and the snow was a melting and there were large puddles all over the yard. its fun running through puddles of water. I did go upto the muddy driveway and that id where i brake-flipped and...
Got to do a test run on a savage today.dammit, the 30Vg was runnin awesome at 50 degrees. there was lotsa standing water and snow in the yard. Plenty of mud. I like the handling of the dual shocks on each corner and that the truck isnt squishy.losi shocks are stiff, and the small aluminum ones...
Recieved these yesterday for turnbuckles. 3.5, 4 and 5mm slots. think i paid $7 a piece for them. its a very nice tool and will come in useful since the turnbuckles on all my RC are 5mm

at what point do we decide how much servo is too much for steering?
right now in 2 of my trucks(X and flux) i run Savox SC0251MG 222oz@6v and in the other 2 (XL and shelfqueen) i run savox SC 1267SG 180@6v or [email protected].
as throttle servos I run HPI SF-50 in all but the shelfqueen

so, i have this XS that i bought on epig a couple years ago. been trying to dump it, but doesnt look promising.
my thought was to remove the front shaft and the two axle shafts, gut the front differential and fill it with lead car tire weights. shave the cup area off the 2 front axlesand shim...
my servos are 7.4v compatible
what do i need to do, if anything to feed them 7.4v.
would like to goto LiPo's , then i would only need one type of charger for most of my needs
so, i have been away a few years.
Upon return to hobby, i find that Picco engines are no longer produced and parts are not readily available for them. I would like to get a rebuild for the one I own, just so i have one but have not been able to find one.
Anyway, the picco I own is a P3 .28 ...
