Hello all,
I'm getting back to running my Savages. But i'm thinking of replacing they engines on them. Whats the best bashing mill these days for savys? My price range is around $150 to $250. But whats a good pipe to go with the mill also?
Thanks for your time and help,
Nick
I would have to disagree with this, my process in cleaner and way faster then I'm picturing the process you are refering to. I'm using the 600 grit to remove the white off the plate that the easyoff did not get. Then I'm using the 2500 to get the mirror affect. Then I use the dermal to fix...
Sorry I hit enter to soon. Here is some more work.

Hey all,
I'm as of last week I am almost done with my savy rebuild. It's an Savage SS that has been clean from its purple deamons. (Death to Purple). Along this the cleansing, a few hop ups were added. Here is the list:

So there i was out bashing and all of the sudden,
a large rabbit ran out in front of my truck. Then,
I swerved away from the rabbit and nearly missing a
curb doing 50mph just to run into a
Parker, ('cause there are about a hundred of them on this forum) I grabbed a handful of the SS...
Just for the record, my problem was not the screws. I replace my screws long before i posted this thread. If people are modding the TVPs over just replacing some screws??? Then some screw is lose! (not talking about on their truck! LOL)
Good Man. No one likes a quiter! LOL
Dude, i believe that is the root cause of most people's problems. Not giving these models the proper care. Ya i know these are toys and all. But give it some TLC and see the thing last forever.

That website is Cool!!! I just added myself. I hear that pineapple was my neighber. Pineapple if you see this, lets bash some day.
This thread should be stickyed!
Another update. My engine mount modding work like a charm. Here is some info for you all.
When I started, the engine mount measured to be 20.84 mm. I got to about 19.91 mm and that gave the engine pretty good clearance, but I wanted more. So I went to 19.80, but anything lower then that...
Man I just don't get it. I must have some good luck with my savages, I have own 4 of them in my past. I have never had this many problems I hear people have with there savages. ALL my savys have seen air, horrible landings (if you can call them landings), and ran into tires of cars or even...
Just an update, after reading the first two posts, Solution being "dermel time". I figured that before I posted the start of the thread. So i was seeing what I should dermel. And the funny thing is figured that removing some of the bottom of the mount would be the fastest and easiest way to...
Hey all, I'm trying to give my metal savy a face lift. This savy was built with 25 series parts, and again most of the savy is metal gpm parts. I'm trying to install FLM 45200 .500 LCG TVP's in place of stock 25 TVP's. So the first problem was with the engine plate, which I knew i was going...
You got my vote base on the idea, the lighting and all. I feel though that the image is not 100% the best quality, Its a bit fuzzy. never the less, you got my vote!
