    yeah imma stop putting money into my xl. Already dumped $700 in parts not including the car. Imma pick up a flux this friday and will go carbon fiber on that bad boy. As far as the gearing on the XL, I was thinking going 19/46. thatll give it killer top end.

    Yeah thats one thing that scares me. I bash at my local park with some ramps. If I had a runaway at WOT with a lrp that weighs 15lbs at 50mph that could end VERY badly. Lots of kids running around. Illl swing by and check my LHS to see if they have one. I wanna run today when I get off work.

    wow. my xl is so much heavier than factory. wonder if shaving a pound or two would make a world of difference? My xl is easily 2-4 lbs heavier than factory

    I'm kinda shying away from Carbon fiber. not sure how long it would hold up in the long run. For soem reason my lrp wont hit 3rd. It'll only hit 2nd. I'll do more tweaking next time I bust it out. I'm runing 16/48 on my mil now. Going to check the forums to see what other combos are faster...

    I have 3 batteries on my savvy. One is the ofna 1700mah hump pack strapped to my rear bulkhead. I also had to put on the factory 1200mah hump pack on my front bulkhead because the 1700 ran out.     Running my new lrp 28 with an ofna 86 pipe I'm a little disappointed in the power. When i first ran it my slipper clutch was loose. I thought it was the new clutch not grabbing. So after a few more high speed passes I check the slipper clutch and realize that was the issue. I tighten that down...

    I'm using the robinson racing spur gear with the hpi factory vented clutch bell. My rr spur did come with a clutch bell but I didn't install it. Anybody have any issues with using the vented bell as opposed to the rr bell? They're both have the same number of teeth.

    Well I spent a whole Saturday building a portable ramp. It took me a whole 30 minutes of top speed hits to smash it to smithereens. I'm looking for a collapseable or portable bmx or skateboarding ramp I can bring to the park that would last. I see some online for some insane prices though...
