    Actually the motor plate is good. One of those silver aluminum brace arms that go under the motor plate is broken.

    Ya the failsafe kicks in and that's it. Wen I start walking up to it, it will pick up signal again and continue until I get that far away from it again and failsafe kicks in again. 130 yards is pretty bad I say!!

    I only get about 120 yards or so. Tried everything to solve the problem. Took it back to the lhs and they say its fine, but its not or else I would be happy. Thought this radio was good for 800 or so. Sux wen ur always loosin range and can't even use the third gear properly.

    Had this radio for 2 weeks and iv tried everything to fix it! As I surf the web, I come across tons of forums and threads with people having the same problem. RECALL THIS JUNK!! For $200, I could have paid sum bills and still used my am radio that gets double the range!

    I just bougjt the dx2.0 and I'm finding out its a complete waste of money. I get brutal range, like a tenth of what its supposed to. How useful is that! My stock am was better.

    I was using the futaba fsu2 failsafe and I was great but now I don't use it cuz my new radio has one built in.

    Turn on ur radio, turn on ur truck with the failsafe hooked up, apply full brake then bress the button on the failsafe.

    So is there anything I can do. I changed where the wire exits the reciever box to the side so we will see if that makes any diffrence. Before it was comin out the top and across the rec box.

    Hmmm, I dunno what to do. I changed where the antenna comes out of the reciever, it came out the top and ran across my reciever but I changed it today so it comes out the side and straight up the antenna tube. Hopefully that may make a diffrence. Should I hav a piece of the wire antenna comin...

    I know wifi signals mess with it and I have a wifi signal in my building where I bind my unit. Do u think the wifi signal affects the bind? I want to go out in the country where there is nothing around me and try binding out the and see if I get better range.

    today I was out and I lost signal so I figured I'd count out my steps and see how far from where I was standing, to where my truck locked up with the failsafe. I counted out 127 normal walking steps. I figured 1 of my walking steps is about 1 yard so its about 350 feet. Is that decent range or...

    checked the antena and its good. Crystals have been removed and put back in. Cant be too much wrong with it cuz i bought it brand new at christmas. Thinking of getting the spektrum dx2.0, what do u think??

    Its brand new. I just broke it in. Worked fine during break in.
