ofna micro fail safe issues

i just received my savage and I'm very excited about it. i bought the ofna micro fail safe to safe my huge investment ,but i ran into some issues. when i try to set it to brake it doesnt go to brake....when i go to test it by turning off the remote it just goes slack to the neutral position i guess. no brake at all. ive played with my trim and try messing with the linkage a bit but nothing....


anyone ever used this fail safe before?

Turn on ur radio, turn on ur truck with the failsafe hooked up, apply full brake then bress the button on the failsafe.

I have the same failsafe, I had the same issue until I re programmed it 5 times. that failsafe does not grab full brakes and hold it. when you turn your tx off it will apply full brakes for a second only then return your servo to neutral. when you get it figured out let me know if it causes your throttle servo to twitch something fierce

I was using the futaba fsu2 failsafe and I was great but now I don't use it cuz my new radio has one built in.

your new radio has a software failsafe built in that will only protect against out of range. it will not help you if your rx dies or gets tossed from your truck. in that case you can break out your dust pan and brush

So what are u to do? I heard u can't use a aftermarket fs cuz it conflicts.
