nope, al that you have to remove to put your new cvds in is the steering knuckles. pull out the old spindle and after you assemble the cvd just slide it in and put the 2 screws back into the steering knuckle. its a pretty quick job :) hope this helps

yes, having a vented bell is a good thing. before i changed mine to a vented i always had problems with the clutch getting really hot.. ohh and btw what gearing u running your truck with?
a good pipe and header will give your truck a little more power too. i ran the hpi polished pipe for a while and liked it for the price. after you get the big bore shocks you will have room to put an xl header on for less restriction too :)

i would just go with the kit and even tho you don't like the tvps that are included you can go to tcscrawlers.com and get a set of stronger thicker ones pretty cheap
its smart to put washers under the screws on your tie rods to keep them from popping off of the balls leaving your front wheels going all over the place :D
