nope, al that you have to remove to put your new cvds in is the steering knuckles. pull out the old spindle and after you assemble the cvd just slide it in and put the 2 screws back into the steering knuckle. its a pretty quick job :) hope this helps

a good set from hpi is the purple clutches with the 1.0mm springs that are included. ive used them before and they work and grab well. here is a link to a set. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKSC7&P=ML hope this helps

yes, having a vented bell is a good thing. before i changed mine to a vented i always had problems with the clutch getting really hot.. ohh and btw what gearing u running your truck with?
a good pipe and header will give your truck a little more power too. i ran the hpi polished pipe for a while and liked it for the price. after you get the big bore shocks you will have room to put an xl header on for less restriction too :)

i would just go with the kit and even tho you don't like the tvps that are included you can go to tcscrawlers.com and get a set of stronger thicker ones pretty cheap
its smart to put washers under the screws on your tie rods to keep them from popping off of the balls leaving your front wheels going all over the place :D
oh i was going to mention a set of spi racing wheels. thay give you a super wide stance that makes your truck handle awsome and makes it just look great. they have a lifetime warranty against bending stripping and breaking. there is also a great variety of different designs. you can either get...
2 OZ and my mistake i have factory team silicon oil. And when you fill up the shocks twist the shock shaft once you have the fluid in there to insure that all the little air bubbles are out. let the shocks sit upright for a while and remove the caps and see if you need to add fluid.
yepp :) and i used team associated 35 wt silicon oil and had some left over after all 4 shocks were filled. just remember to lube all the o rings before you fill them so your shocks wont leak. if you have any more questions just feel free to ask
Derek
i think that 35 or 40 wt silicon oil will work well. i run 35 in my aluminum big bores an it handles pertty well. i haven't done the fuel tubing mod tho b/c the truck sits pretty low. you can take out the preload clips to lower its stance a little.
hope this helps a little
