looking for motor I am undecided between the picco.28 and the lrp.30..So I came to ask the experts which they think is the better motor..Which is easier to tune and holds a tune better..Any other info on these would be appreciated...:resp:

Having not run the LRP 30, i'll reply to the "any other info" part of your request:

i vote picco .28 instead of LRP 30 caz idk ne one on this forum thats run the LRP 30.

Many of us have run the picco with different pipes, plugs, gearing, etc & it performs extremely well. idk of a single unhappy picco owner.

If you go with the LRP 30, you'd be the first guy i know with one so its kinda a shot in the dark with regard to "easier to tune & holds a tune better" part of your question.

I agree with frddyj. I don't know of anyone with the LRP .30. The LRP .28 has been a good motor. I know if your debating between the LRP .28 and Picco .28 it will be very controversial some say the LRP will beat the Picco unmodified and some will say the opposite.

I have to say the Picco will outlast and hold a tune just as well as the LRP. I have head the LRP is a bear to break in but have never done this. I love my Picco besides the little problem I had with my Carb but is fixed now, I believe Bank has had a similar problem with his.

Thanks for the info guys looks like I will go with the picco..Now can anyone tell me where I can find one at..Everywhere I look they are all on back order...:resp:

I will hopefully sat of sunday. I'm not very experienced but I plunked down decent coin for what I hope is a quality mill, and I'll be glad to let you all know what I find.
