traxxas starter on savage

I agree with grumpy the first thing I changed on my sons t-maxx was that starter.I bolted a savage roto on it
 
first that is not a traxxas starter...its an ofna..... second ofna does make one of those for big blocks.... it comes stock on one or more of their .28 and .32 vehicles


well, i know its an ofna, but i said traxxas to give an idea to the ppl over here 🙂

sorry that was directed towards the question of durability of the system....and i am actually in the process of looking for a starter like that for my 6x6x4 savage.....love the pullstart on my xss but i generally run my 6x6 when its below freezing out and it makes it a lil hard to start (I'm a lil tired of the blisters from the pullstart)..... and since its a uhmmm i guess you would call it a mid-rear tank... maybe? well i cant run a roto but i would have room for a starter of that basic type..
 
Thats pretty cool. You should start this in a new thread. I was going to but your the guy that found it so ill let you do it. Great fine. Looks like what I just did for my R/C Snowmobile but I just cut the head to about 1/3 left.
