OFFICAL !!! I hate my truck today thread (everyone welcome to rant)

So I went out today to do some bashing. NOTHING but problems
I bought a brand new mugen composite clutch .. (only 3 shoe clutch I could find in stock at LHS) I run mugen 1.0 springs w/ them .. And I toasted them in 2 tanks .. they are junk now ... 13 bucks down the drain .. My bad clutch helped melt a new spur .. Then To call the day a waste, my crystal took a poop and I had a runaway .. burnt the hell out of my finger .... BLAH !!!!!!!

Ive had good luck so far with the mugen composites. Lucky the season is pretty much over for me so I can inspect them.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear your fait. I would have to say that 1mm Springs will be to heavy for the light composite shoes.

I too had a bad day. I had 4 Guys and a gal come out today to bash (All members) My truck never even ran! I killed the plug and I didn't have a spare. It stinks being the only guy running turbo plugs...

similar thing happened to me recently.... Lost the clutchbell bearings. While in progress of doing that the mesh got sloppy (due to the bearings) and then proceeded to chew up the HPI racing bell and HPI hardened spur. So, I know how you felt.

You killed the HD SPUR.... Way to go! :resp: I thought they were indestructible. Guess not...

Almost broke my arm .. it wasn't going that fast and it was heading straight for me , I stopped it w/ my arm then it flipped over and I stopped it w/ my NOW Burnt thumb

everyone has days like, especialy me haha, but it's what makes the hobby fun and enjoyable. Ya you might be caught in the moment and extremely fed up, but you know when you get the truck on the bench the real fun begins!
