I seen a pic of pineys dog the other day and figured that might be a decent thread....here is my little buddy. His name is lucky and he and my boy are 3 and they are best friends. He is a purebreed yellow lab. It's scary how smart he is.

Ahhh cool Dog!I used to have a Black Lab before all the Golden's and yes they are scary smart!I'll post a pic of my buddy here l8r.

My dogs

Choc. lab mix and Yellow lab, the mix is the better of the two, I have had numerous friends try to buy him from me because he is such a great dog. My yellow lab unfortunately knows how to open doors and tuperware. :duh: BTW they love to chase my savage!
 
Here is my best friend. Did you know it is really hard to take a good photo of a black dog. These are a year or 2 old.

And here is one of him munching on my hand. Not much has changed really other then he has worked out to wake me up in the morning so he can munch on my hand he will lick me in the mouth. Not my favourite wake up call.

A funny story. He used to love emptying the bin all over the house so we bought a dog proof bin. It's dog proof as long as it's not overfull or the lid is closed properly. Yesterday he managed to somehow pull the plastic bag liner out of the full bin with out pulling out any of the rubbish. He then decorated the house with torn up plastic bag.

He also likes to raid the bathroom bin as well which is a pedal bin but he has worked out that he needs to stand on the pedal to get it to open.

We went down to the park one day to drive our electrics and when we get there, there are two guys with a monster truck and 2 dogs chasing it like mad. We went over and were talking to them. They said they do this to tire out the dogs so they don't try and chase the helicopters when they get them out. They stopped driving when the dogs stopped chasing. Sure enough these dogs just lay there exhausted the whole time these guys were flying their choppers.

Yea my dog has pulled the tires off the rims before, he got his nose burned on the pipe also!
 
nice dogs every one we have two cats so i don't think they will like your dogs that much! lol

My buddy loves cats! And everybody and all dogs too! He has the greatest disposition I have ever seen in a Dog.And funny stories you have there MT Tim! It's a everyday occurrence with mans best friend thats part of the reason we love dogs/pets so much imo.

Well guys I don't have a dog but I do own an animale. It is my version of "mans best friend". I only have to feed her once a week, she doesnt make noise, listens to me rant and rave and doesnt say a word. Does this pet count???

He is a japanese chin x maltese supposedly. His hair is really fine but he has a very thick coat. He has grown a bit since those pics but not a huge amount.

Nice lizzard, NITRONUT. I went to a friend of a friends place once and her house was full of tanks with different types of lizards. It was incredible with all the lamps on at night. Looked really impressive.
 
Here's my Yorkie - a purebred MONSTER - at 11 lbs! These are pics of her after i asked for a puppy cut....and the lady just shaved her.

As you can see in the 1st pic, she has the same bad habits as me!

Hey nitronut is that a monitor? I to love reptiles, when I was a kid I always had turtles and snakes. I got rid of my red tail boa about 3 1/2 years ago. He was a 6 1/2 feet long and ate rats, he was awesome. I love reptiles because they kind of demand your respect because they show no emotion....ya just never know if their happy or chapped.
 
Ahhh Don't shave dogs!!!!Their coat is designed to keep them warm AND cool!

Nice dog Moto,does he have a problem with those pesky empty beers like you?

Thanks Bro , its called a UROMASTYX (spiney tail). It loves HOT and DRY climates. They are very social animals but don't like too many new people. I`ve had her for about 3 years. The males get much bigger and the are more colorful. She is a cool pet and she will let you know if she`s mad or happy. TYPICAL WOMAN........LOL
 
It's so cute. Our dog has a superman (superdog) costume and a bathrobe. The misses thinks it's hilarious to dress him up in it.
