Hi I got my spring and fitted, it seems to catch on carb rubber, Also one picture is full throttle
One is when I let go of throttle and one is brake, but when I brake the gap don't open back up when I let go what am I doing qrong?

ok, so I see a few things. 1 I'm not sure your linkage is set up quite right, because it's not opening fully under full throttle.

as far as the closing when you brake, that's what the idle screw is for. pop the ball end off of the carb (I use pliers that makes it easier). then with the spring still on, just you carb to have a 1mm gap like the pic I sent. that way when you brake the screw will keep the carb from closing fully like it is right now.

try that then send pics of that see how that works.

looks good! I would try to run it now. start with it off the ground on a stand or something. that way if it malfunctions you don't have a runaway truck. let it warm up. if the idle is too high or too low adjust it with the screw, not the linkage. it should be low enough that it won't move when idling but also doesn't just die.

Thank you so much for your help I have one last question I've seen so many people say different things about breaking in nitro engine, What's your method

just take your time and go slow and you'll be fine. it'll take a few tanks
I still can't get it to fire at all, my roto start just spinning s and even a splutter, what have I done wrong.

If I put a rag over pipe to get fuel through its not pulling any at all why could this be

I've now found exhaust didn't have seal on so that's done now it keep popping button out on roto start

Yes I've put it away now been trying for hours I'm getting so fed up 151£ on new engine and it won't fire at all I have no where near Me I can take it either

souds like the rotostart is bad. do you have a drill
Hurrrrraaaayyyy it starts 😄😃😀 but cuts out unless I operate throttle manually as I'm breaking engine in it say to have remote off but wheels spin if I let go of throttle it cuts out straight away

Why is this, it say not to adjust anything but how would I stop clutch engaging

OK now I have it ticking over nicely and starting each time but my brake is engaged on neutral how do I change this without messing it all up.??? Help please

With controller off no brakes engaged as soon as controller is turned on brakes engage with controller trim set to 0

the thumb screw that's on the linkage towards the front of the truck in front of the servo is to adjust brakes
Hi sorry maybe I didn't explain very well,
When all is turned off truck freewheels but as soon as I turn controller on the throttle server moves which puts breaks on, shouldn't it just freewheel,
When I adjust mt throttle trim on controller from 0 to 2 it eases the brake off, what have I got wrong?

you could either just adjust the servo horn (power on the truck, remove the horn, rotate it a tooth or 2 so it's not engaging brake) or just keep it trimmed so it's not engaging the brake.

OK thank you, I didn't know if I could use trim for that thought it was for starting

Hi all I now have it running in front of me I can't seem to gave it idle without wheels spinning constantly how do I stop that

@Tiddy

TURN THE IDLE SCREW COUNTER CLOCK WISE ABOUT 1/32" UNTIL
IT WILL KEEP RUNING WITHOUT TRYING TO MOVE.
THE WHEELS SOMETIMES WILL SPIN IF THE TRUCK ISNT SITTING
ON THE GROUND.
