I've acquired another thundertiger .70 heli engine like the o e used in the 2wd EK4 monster truck. Is it fast? Not really. Torque? Plenty of it.
So I'm going to put the .70 in an xl.
I've been beating up helicopters so I'm somewhat disconnected from part supply options.
Can anyone direct me to a source for diffs?
Cen diffs are in one of trucks and flux BP diffs in the other.

I plan on using a 2 speed or just lock it up and gear accordingly.

Since I'll be spending time in the shop might as well get something done.

rc4me.us has BP diffs/diff parts, not sure that they are HPI, but they are cheap.

They don't have a complete "take off" diff, but close to it:

I know the feeling... haven't been outside in a couple weeks. Between weather and the virus, I haven't run anything other than my scx24 in a long time. I had one day a month ago I'm still kicking myself for not dragging my butt out of bed to go bash.

If I were you I’d gear that truck way up,
Something like 44t spur from a flux
And 20t clutchbell
It’s a torque monster but they do not rev high at all,
I’ve ran one in a mgt 7.0
Even with a smaller custom spurgear it was slow and drank fuel,
There’s no real tuning window on the TT70
Just be sure to run Heli nitro fuel
They won’t last a couple tanks on car fuel
