Tyre setup on HPI Warlock rims

Managed to completely rip a fairly new tyre going through soft sand. Probably hit a small branch or something. Don't think these tyres are too good for bashing, in this terrain anyway. They do work very well at my local BMX dirt jumps though. The jumps are made of compacted sand and they are well maintained so its no surprise they work well on that.



What tyres can anyone recommend that will fit on HPI savage warlock rims (HPI 3191)?

Do you not run the stock Savage tires? I have them on my electric trucks and they seem to be durableand don't balloon too much.

I do, but mine balloon a lot, especially at 6s. It's really bad how much they balloon ??

Well, I never really noticed how much they did balloon till I held my truck by the roll bar and punched the throttle.?,I think when I run it I'm looking ahead of it so much lol.I started running 6s in the XL ,and they do end up being ? cutters.

I've been tempted to bolt on a set of backflips from a arrma outcast, just to see if there's any improvement because they sit wide.
