Buying secondhand savage xl

Hey guys just trying to get info on the savage xl have a chance to buy a second hand one and would like some guidance(what not to pay, things i should look for, and even reviews of the truck) any input is appreciated

I really like my XL it's a lot more stable than the X. As for what to look for & how much to pay? I'd look for the usual signs of wear & tear as well as cleanliness. A good sign of how the previous owner took care of his equipment is usually evident in how clean it is! As for price, try and figure the age of the vehicle, typically purple hardware = older savage. The orange hardware is indicative of a newer savage. Also check on eBay and see what similar Riggs are selling for. RTR (ready to run) I'd say $200.00 is a good starting point. I'll probably catch flack for the above mentioned price but, buying used RC stuff can be risky. Pic's of this truck would help us out a lot.

That's some pretty steep shipping charges. I would be willing to wager that the price is going to go up to 180-230 with an hour left. Place your bid wisely!

As with any used vehicle, a complete teardown and inspection will benefit you once you get the rig.....
Always a good idea to teardown the and do a thorough cleaning and seal just to be sure....

Got it! For 104.50 160 ish with shipping! Dealish or what? Idk how i feel i understand some things might be shot but i feel like thats cheap? Looks decently clean? I'm on the fence! (Fishing for a good buy! Pat on the back)

Just came in raped ape is a understatement lol if it had wings i guarantee it would fly the cen wheels make it stand tall but it has great balance lrp fired on first drill bump!
