I sent the engine back to HPI service center they are returning it to me free of charge (still broken) saying they don't have parts
I'd hope there is some way I can get the problem addressed
The people I spoke with at the service center seemed to be very friendly and knowledgeable yet they can't fix or replace the engine
Am I the only person having such luck? (doubt it)
Has anyone from Can/US gotten help they could share
Am I wrong in believing if you can't fix you should replace if you can't replace due to lack of parts then I'd expect you would offer another solution no just sorry about ... we don't have parts .... and expect me to accept this

Am I wrong to assume a 2 year warranty becomes VOID just because they can't find parts

I'm a happy owner of 2 Baja and have never had a problem I couldn't fix or find info as to how to fix
And in the three other times I contacted HPI they were able to repair or offer solution

FYI I am referring to Hobby Services in Illinois (HPI North America repair center)

Just curious am I asking too much to have the Octane replaced with a HPI Baja ss Kit ( same price or very close to what I spent
If you have knowledge or insight please post experence

They told me because HPI is no longer in business that they could not do anything for me or offer me anything else and this was two months ago I'm not buying another HPI product ever again
