just wish there was something different then plastic so ur truck looks bad ass and can race at the same time just got them tonight so I will be testing them soon but I'm sure ur right just had to try it for myselfif they are the alloy arms then I am sorry to tell you that they will most likely bend or at the very least break bulkheads, they look nice on a shelf queen but for actual running the plastics are superior......
Yes I bet but this is kinda like my show truck I drive it pretty hard but I don't really go crazy I don't have any tracks or anything like that near me anyways just kind of flying up and down the road and grass and gravel that's about it I'm saving to get another truck just for bashing I kinda just wanted to show truck to go with it but I drive it almost every day just not off jumpsI'll also vouch for the RPM arms. They are available in colors besides black and are arguably superior to the stock plastic arms.
I used to run Integy aluminum arms a long time ago. They look awesome, but in two separate incidents where I caught a tree with a front wheel the front of the truck basically tore in half and required new bulkheads, pin braces, and hinge pins. Sure, if I had driven better I wouldn't have hit the tree, but if I'd had the plastic arms they would have taken the hit by flexing or just snapped off (much easier and less expensive repair).

I recently took it out and drive it pretty hard but I didn't really jump it off anything I'm just kind of making a show truck and then I'm getting another truck just for bashing the hell out of so I kind of have the best of both worlds one for show and one for bashingA arms are a part that takes a lot of abuse. You need some give and flex there. I own a set of Integy arms that I no longer use. Heavy, and you will destroy hinge pins and bulkheads. Rpm is a better alternative for a-arm upgrades. Don't get me wrong, they look sweet. But you want durability? Keep your arms plastic.
Paint the plastic ones with chrome paint?
