20141025_214741.webp20141025_214829.webp20141025_214642.webp 20141025_214741.webp I was wanting 2 do a truly bulletproof diff conversion and was wondering what all I need 2 order and also I seen on hpi site they have a machined heavy duty bulletproof with 29/9 and also a sintered bulletproof also with 29/9 what is the difference?Which is better I've also read about a central dif mod I'm wondering which is the toughest with the easiest installation! Thanks 4 all help in advance I've been upgrading and modding as much as possible I've done shock mod hub and carrier mod and fixing 2 do throttle/brake mod what other top mods do all recommend???? Oh I bout 4 got I also done my own cold air intake mod
 
First thing I would do is go back to the stock air filter or get a motor saver filter for it, that filter is nice and all but it will let dirt thru and hurt your engine.... Ofna throttle mod is good, as for those diffs, the machined gears are better than the sintered gears are for high power stuff....other than that I would run the truck and look for hopups as things break down.....

K will take breather of it is a 2 stage though it's a k & n crankcase breather and I put the foam from factory air filter inside of it I looked at the motor saver filter and I am fixing 2 order it I guess
 
yea, the motor saver is an awesome filter. for 15$, it's not a bad price, either. I've herad about the k&n's, and although they look cool, like jam said, u will ruin ur engine, and engines are pricy

Yeah tell me about it dropped almost $500 on a modded novarossi that was with a few extras tho like break-in and buku crank cap and couple other things was keeping my 4.1 as a back up or I might try modding it myself not sure yet have 2 do more research
 
I'm thinking of going with the cen racing diffs the 1's 4 the gst and nemesis I know that they r not a direct drop in but from what I've read it's not 2 much work I only think shimmy it right is gonna b the worst of it cause the article I read didn't tell exactly where shims go just the size and thickness of washers 2 get, would the Integy aluminum gear case be good or should I stick with stock I'm really wanting 2 try 2 mod everything 2 either titanium, aluminum, or carbon fiber! But not alot of the cf I'm also thinking of putting the xl extended heavy duty axles
