Grinding sounds and I have a vid question

I have a savage x 4.6 and I am getting grinding sounds from my truck. I was woundering if anyone would have any idea if what i show in this vid has anything to do with it.

There should be a grub screw or set screw to keep the cup that is inside the brake pads from spinning freely. Here is the manual for the 3spd tranny but if you look on page 6 you will see what i am talking about.

yep i agree your missing the grub screw like scott said

Total agree ! But if u still get the noise of grinding then check the rear diff as I had same noise and my rear diff had gone like the guys have said look in ur book and it will give u a step by step on how to get to it

Welcome to the forum.. looks like you been taken care of already.. but I'll add make sure you use blue lock tight on the new grub screw when you put it in ..
