How the heck do i use this thing? Iv had an account for a while but have no idea how i ever used it. I Want to set it up with my bank account but it says that it takes 3 to 5 business days? I want to buy something right now, is it possible?

Not to sure about the Right now part, only way i think that you can pay right now is if someone sends you money from there paypal, or you add a visa to your paypal ( instant ) and if you do have a bank account connected you need a back up, so a prepaid visa will work also.

SOOO if i were you..
id go to a store, grab a prepaid visa hook it up to your paypal. Buy what you want, then hook bank account + that visa for a backup.

I have a debit/credit cars for my account. Can i use the debit/credit option and pay right away?

+1 on the Visa card...just grab a pre-paid gift card from the store and add it to your PayPal account. Goes in instantly and you can use the funds right away. Perfect if you have cash and you don't want any charges to appear on your charge card...wink wink... married guys 🙂

oh ya, when your at the purchase screen just click the add card and put your credit card numbers and there you go. that screen wont work for debit though

Blah. Trying to learn paypal and ebay at the same time is confusing. I think ill just pay full price with my debit/credit card ol.

Id go with the credit card linked to the account.
That's what i do, and it works perfect. Unless you plan on selling things and want the money in your bank account you have to link your bank account and paypal together.

Can alwats apply for a paypal preferred account(paypal credit card type) Its dangerous tho lol I got a 7G limit 😵

no, not by linking to your bank account. they have to verify your account through the banking system, otherwise, it would be too easy for criminals to set up "ghost" accounts and commit crimes.

be CAREFUL linking to your bank account or checking account. DO NOT use your primary account because (if you read the terms and conditions) you give paypal the right to freeze your account for an indefinite period of time if there are any disputes or for other reasons they deem necessary.
