i blew up my engine last night and don't know a good engine to get. my limit is about $290. if you want to know the specific's about how i blew it up. i was cruising around i pinned it and it grenaded i saw the piston fly straight thru the body.

Well my list would be LRP 28,picco p3 or even the SH PT28XM1A-P8 PRO REAR EXHAUST ENGINE is a great choice and a bit cheaper the the other two and we have a member here that deals with the sh engines, give him a look at terra nova hobby he will treat you right man guaranteed!!

Get an axial and save almost a hundred bucks...tune it one and roll with it. I love my .32

good budget mill, but the above mentioned piccos and LRP's and SH motors will be a lot better quality mill, and when treated right will out perform and out last an axial mill

as cheesy as it sound i don't have a camera. it didnt go thru the cylinder head the screws shattered of the head and the piston pushed it out of the way and thru my SUV body.

it sounds like the screws might have vibrated loose (which is common) to the point that the failure happened.

what engine did you have that blew up? were you happy with that engine? how long did it last you before it blew up?

you don't need to spend all your $290.00 to get a mill that will prob be an upgrade from the one that died (unless you want to); you can almost buy a whole other new savage for that price.

you can get an F4.6 on www.sickhobbies.com for $100.00 + ship or, like scott points out you can get an lrp .28 for about $80 more with more ports & power.
