I've been looking into rock crawlers but have no idea what I want. I like the Losi Mini, or Micro crawler. I don't know if I would have enough good places to run a 1/10 comp crawler. The smaller ones seem a little more versatile. I would like an opinion from people who run them. What is the most worthwhile purchase for a stock crawler. I don't really plan on modding right away but would like some options to upgrade in the future. Would I be happier with the 1/18 versus the 1/24 since there might be more parts? Or should I just save up and get a 1/10? What do you guys think? Also, I've been looking at the Losi ones but would consider other brands too. Which company makes the best crawlers?

I'm very much into crawlers, i have a rock course in my cellar that i run a losi mini crawler on.....if your looking to get a smaller crawler, than the losi is the way, there highly capable and also very upgradable.....i also have a duratrax cliff climber, which is 1/14 scale, but the losi mrc is much better

alot of people seem to look down on crawling, i find it to be extremely relaxing and fun, if you like tinker and upgrade, then crawling is for you
also, the traxxas summit, is an excellent vehicle, you can crawl and go fast, i love mine, but its really big

Cool thanks for the advice. I'm lookin' at the Micro because of the price, but I think I may be happier with the Mini. Although I guess if I liked it enough I could always give the Micro to my boys and get a Mini later. Between me and the two boys, it's pretty hard to have too many toys around the house LOL. Great set-up BTW, I love the cable bridge idea in the last pic.

I have the losi Mini Rock Crawler and love it small enogh to play anywhere and handles very well my son loves it to. If you buy I think it is the way to go.

Thanks, I'll look into one of those a little more. It's lookin' more and more like it may not happen 'till later in the year though.
