I am a member of a few other RC forums (Spreading Savage Love) and I must say we are the best by a mile. You cant make a post on any of them with out getting attacked by other members for one reason or another. That never happens here, never. You can post here about what ever your RC needs may be and receive help even if you are asking for help about something that is not savage or hpi related, In some cases it isn't even RC related at all.

You are a great bunch of guys and I consider you all family. Love to you all.

P.S. I believe I have made my last posts in many of them and it is a shame as there are good guys on all of them but the bad ones just make it impossible to help or get help from anyone.
 
ya i was on "another" forum and there was a newcomer to the hobby asking questions and was totally flamed for not knowing the answers and was asked if he was smart enough to read so he could find the answers himself instead of bothering them with "dumb" questions, never been back since...........thats why I'm still here because of the family atmosphere!!

P.S.. AWSOME THREAD GUYS!!!

A big part of what makes us so much better is the great admins and mods who keep the people who only aim to cause problems from staying very long. Way to go guys and thanks for all the work keeping this such a great site.

yes i take my position as the welcome thread moderator seriously and i try my best to make EVERYONE feel welcome no matter how much experience they have in the hobby or whatever and we were all newcomers to the hobby at some point!!
 
You know I have always been helped by other members or tried to help other members. This place is like a home away from home. My wife always gives me crap for always being on here but I love it. I have found so much information here and NOBODY has ever given me a hard time even if I have asked questions that might seem simple to people with more experience than me. I thank each and every one of you.

yea hpisf is a great forum for savages and rcers alike but some I'm on tend to more openly to other rc genres per say that are really good like this place
 
Great post guys, Hpisf is truly in a class of its on, i try and use the search feature as much as i can, all of you know, as well as i .that answering the same questions over and over ,can be trying at best.
Not once have i ever been flamed or disrespected. my questions(no matter how dumb). have
always been answered in a prompt and courtious manner.
But, imo the biggest draw is the cleanliness of the site. my son ,is just now learning to do a little maintance to his say 4.6. and from time to time. i will log him on and let him research
(as he puts it).
I have no problem with him researching his heart,i don't have to worry about content,ect ect.

dude....i joined this forum because i met Rick (Trixter) and a no limit r/c race a debbie's rc world. he just came over and started talking like he's known me forever. then i met the no limit guys, then i joined the forum....and haven't joined another savage forum since. i was on the baja forum and that was a pretty cool place.......but HPISF does it like no other. and.........i have actually met more HPISF members than any other forum i've been on. love it.....and now i am not really an active member of any other r/c forum..... i think the only other forum that i am a member of is the Monster Mayhem monster truck (1:1). i ain't going no where!!! i can't afford another savage as of right now....but as soon as the Beast is finished i'll be back in the savage game........maybe even BRUSHLESS!!! but....i still check the forum religiously everyday.................:10:
