sweet truck man, trying to figure out where ive seen somethin like that before.

paint job rocks. i repped ya but cant gift ya till you actually run it :stickpoke:

nice truck rager!

My problem is if I had something that nice I wouldn't even want to get it dirty LOL. Awesome truck and I absolutely love that lid man! I'm a chevy fan, and I want that lid for my XL but haven't gotten it yet. Did you paint it yourself? Whoever did has some skills. I never was good at flames LOL.

i ran it earlier today, broke in the mill, but it started to get dark, and problems arose.

the screw holding the break linkage backed out and the linkage fell off during a pass, went right into a curb going at 1/2-23 throttle......and not a single scratch, god i love this truck. Gonna tune for performance tomorrow boys, point those wheels at the sky and never look down.

I had a friend back in the states paint it for me at cost, he has a site on the internet somewhere but i lost the link. If i find it ill let you know, don't think he will do it at cost but he is a good painter.

so i was gonna it today ut it decided to rain o my parade 🙁 ut when i wake up in a couple of hours the should stop and the parking lot should be open for me to rip open. Soon as i have results wll e t posted...and if there iscanage believe you e it will be here well...

b the way...still taking names for so that i can cristen it properly so far we have: the liberator.....and thats it. come on guys i know you guys can be creative as well

very sweet build. the Suspension kit looks so good. hope i win the draw. lol. hows the handling? is there still a little dialing in to do or is it set up?

so i finally decided to let it loose a little bit just now and all i gotta say is WOW...this thing is a whole new beast compared to what it was. I haven't opened it up all the way cuz i still haven't gotten use to the new handling characteristics and acceleration, but if this is a sign when i do open her up its just gonna be a blure of black and blue.

The main difference i gotta say is the handling is totally different than my old rig, so little body roll, and it turns so tight and so fast. The RSC kit is doing its job nicely, the only thing i gotta fix is that the replacement pins for the hub carriers are a tad bit to short for the RPM A arms, this is an easy fix with a dremel and a grinder attachment, but it was worth mentioning. Also the turning radius is at least 300X better than my old rig, the RSC is one thing, but that little tweek of the stops to give it a little bit more makes this thing turn around in a 4 foot circle.

The mill is another thing, i haven't dialed it in, but this thing just wants to go faster and faster. Also the OFNA 250 cc fuel tank is also helping out allot, i lve the 30 minuet run times and it helps keep the nose of the truck down more, but when i punch it i can still put it in the air, also the 18/47 gearing combo is working amazingly, great top end that i have seen so far yet i still have all my low end punch where i like it.

When i finally get this little beast tuned in ill be back and give the final score, which looks to be perfect.

Sweet looking truck man, just be careful with that body, the Picco likes to shred them up just like a puppy and shoes lol.

thats a great looking rig.And i'm studying your battery position ,is that a homemade strap ?

poor truck is in the USA and rage is in Germany..... hold your breath for vids till he gets settled in. I modded parts for this truck months ago and they are just sitting in a box at his dads house 🙁....

To answer your question on the battery mount, yes it was a custome job, but it wasnt that hard....i got a velcro strap and slipped it through the shock towers and around the battery (which is a 2700mah battery that chris did up for me at about 35 with shipping if i remember right) but to make sure that it held tight i got a good zip tie on it and put that over the velco starp so that it wouldnt cut into the shrink rap when the truck vibrates over time.

Now to report on a problem that i never got to tell you about though HPIsavage 25 was able to put it up on the forum for me while i was in hiatus, i tried to run those big losi claw ties with that 47/18 gearing combo on some packed dirt and loose grass and it diddnt like it at all (my bad) it decided to eat up my new fironi turbo sliding clutch (there is a thread somwhere of the carnage but i cnat find it) but somehow the clutch shoes melted to the clutch bell....it took me and parker (hpisavage 25) and his dad about 10 min just to get the CB off the mill and unfortunatly that was the last time i ran it becuase i did not have any replacement clutch shoes and there was not a LHS in sight for miles and miles.

now i am sure that if i dropped the gearing back to about 51/16 it would take those tires just fine, but that combo and those big tires and robins stupidly powerful mill destroyed my clutch setup.

As for my truck being stuck int the states....its a shame....but thats how life is....now that i got an apartment i need to furnish my place now...thats my priority. What sucks tho is that the Germans around here tend to frown on loud noises in urban areas so when i am able to start budgeting money for my RC fetish...i mean hobby I'm going to make a BL build so that i can run my savy when ever i want...tho if i go in the woods I'm gona take this rig and do it right

NITRO FTW!!!!
